Zoomlion Nigeria Signs Landmark Waste Management Agreement with Lagos State Government

Zoomlion Nigeria Limited, a subsidiary of the Jospong Group of Companies, is pleased to announce the signing of a transformative Waste Management and Processing Concession Agreement with the Lagos State Government. The agreement was formally signed on May 26, 2025, at the Lagos State House in Alausa, Ikeja, by His Excellency Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong, Executive Chairman of the Jospong Group. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat, Commissioner for the Environment and Water Resources Mr. Tokunbo Wahab, Attorney General Mr. Lawal Pedro (SAN), Special Adviser on Legal/PPP Mrs. Bukola Odoe, and Zoomlion Nigeria’s Managing Director, Ms. Habiba Abubakar.

Speaking at the event, Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized:
